I was going through some old photo albums and came across this photo of the mural of Disney characters located between the theatre entrances at The Walt Disney Story. While a version of this attraction remains at Disney's Hollywood Studios (One Man's Dream), it's a shame that the Magic Kingdom doesn't have some sort of attraction to honor it's founder. This mural is just one of the "lost" pieces of the MK that have dissappeared over the years. I bet it's still there, just hiding behind some curtain or temporary wall, just waiting to be "found" again. I've always felt that this attraction space is large enough for a ride through of Walt's life, using vehicles like the old Toad cars. The attraction could follow Walts life with highlights from birth to the conception of WDW. While theatre attractions tend to drop in attendance after a few years of operation, rides (especially "Disney" dark rides) tend to have high repeat attendance. This would be the perfect addition to the MK, providing added hourly ride capacity, as well as a great addition to Main Street USA, honoring the man who dreamed it all.
